My Story
Started with Curiosity
Got into Web3 in 2018 as a content creator on Steemit (now Hive), covering videogames, music, and technology. Didn't start as an engineer — started as someone who wanted to create and understand how things work.
Built a Community from Scratch
Founded Aliento, an education and onboarding initiative for Spanish-speaking creators across Latin America. Designed workflows, incentive systems, and served as a bridge between creators and platform teams. Also worked closely with ecosystem leaders, where I helped expose a coordinated fraud scheme.
Kept the Lights On — Alone
When the entire dev team for 3Speak departed, I single-handedly maintained the platform for 18 months. Taught myself MongoDB, Linux server admin, SSL, CDN configuration, Nginx, and Cloudflare. Reduced infrastructure costs by 66-72% while improving platform stability. This is the moment that defined my career.
From Solo Rescue to Startup
Co-founded Mantequilla-Soft, an open-source software company. Now leading a team of 7 developers across 55+ repositories, transitioning from the Hive ecosystem to serving external clients.
